 Formerly The Pine Point Inn, this historic Scarborough home has been renovated and renamed Pine Point Place. Pine Point Place offers three spacious units with 3-4 bedrooms (see descriptions below). A private studio unit is available next door in the innkeeper's former home.
Pine Point Place is just steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches on the Eastern seaboard. Walk down a soft, white sandy path with dunes and dune grasses onto a quiet stretch of beach, which is ideal for walking, swimming or sunbathing. Enjoy the beach or tour the area to find beautiful marshlands with a variety of birds, local harbor views and fresh seafood.
Pine Point is actually a neighborhood in the Town of Scarborough. Portland - Maine's largest city - is located 15 miles north and is rated one of the top-ten-friendliest cities. In this historic city, you'll find "Old Port", shops, galleries and great restaurants. If you 're in the mood for shopping, Kittery, Kennebunkport, Freeport and L.L. Bean are within a 30-minute drive.
All of the units offer spacious, bright rooms which have been updated and beautifully decorated with fine designer linens -- primarily Laura Ashley -- and antiques.
